The Office of Faculty Development and Diversity has created new tools and issued guidelines to benefit faculty search committees and faculty candidates as they prepare and evaluate Statements of Contribution to Diversity. All candidates are invited to submit such a statement, describing their efforts and future plans to promote diversity, equity and inclusion through their teaching, research and service. A rubric is designed to assist faculty search committees in evaluating candidates. These tools are based on recommendations of the Provost’s Task Force to Enhance Faculty Diversity.
