Tackling Impostor Syndrome with Dena Simmons

Participants will explore the five key skills of emotional intelligence — recognizing, understanding, labeling, expressing and regulating emotions — and be exposed to culturally responsive practices. Given by Dena Simmons, assistant director of the Yale Center for Emotional Intelligence, the lecture will discuss how the intersection of emotionally intelligent and culturally responsive practices can help tackle imposter syndrome and create equitable and welcoming communities.
