Alexander Livingston, an associate professor in the Department of Government, whose primary areas of research are democratic theory, social movements, religion and politics, and the history of 20th century political thought, will provide a short overview on the history of civil disobedience.

This will be followed by a facilitated discussion among the attendees about civil disobedience and maintaining an inclusive and welcoming campus community.
