04/19/16: “Race, Gender, and Disability in American Engineering Education”

Amy Slaton, Professor of History at Drexel, will be giving the annual Bovay Lecture in the History and Ethics of Engineering: “Race, Gender, and Disability in American Engineering Education: Why STEM Diversity Must and Cannot Work” (4:30 pm, Tu, April 19, Phillips 101).

This talk will interest those who typically attend the Bovay Series in Engineering Ethics and Department of Science & Technology Studies colloquia, but it should also interest some colleagues in History, FGSS, Africana, the Center for the Study of Inequality, and STEM fields.
