Dr. Caroline Solomon, Associate Professor of Biology at Gallaudet University in Washington, DC, will discuss research on how to engage more members of the deaf and hard of hearing community in STEM. She will also discuss how higher education can better prepare them for STEM careers, to address the leak in the pipeline from graduate education to professional careers.
