Using New Tools to Reach Broader Audience

Scholars are using websites, vlogs, information comics, and PechaKuchas to reach wider audiences than journal articles that sometimes baffle the general public.

A new program, Knowledge Matters, offered by the Provost’s Office of Faculty Development and Diversity is training Cornell faculty in these new technologies. Jon McKenzie, the College of Arts and Sciences dean’s fellow for media and design and visiting professor of English is leading the monthly training program.
