A lunch workshop, Reappointment and Tenure, will be held on Thursday, November 16, in 423 ILR Conference Center from Noon-1:30 PM. Lunch is provided at 11:30 AM. RSVP.

Four Cornell faculty members will address issues, such as mentoring, expectations, how to put together a tenure package, the decision at the departmental level, what happens both in the dean’s office and when the package arrives on the provost’s desk.

The panelists are:

• Avery August, Professor of Immunology and Chair, Department of Immunology and Microbiology:
• Barbara Baird, Professor and former chair, Department of Chemistry, and Senior Associate Dean for Math and Science;
• Max Pfeffer, Professor of Development Sociology, and Executive Dean, College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, and
•  John Siliciano, Deputy Provost and Professor of Law.
