The goal of this session is to share information about managing eldercare for spouses, parents, and other relatives you may care for. Panelists will share their experience with issues such as:
- How to have difficult conversation with loved ones around change in living arrangements, moving to a new place
- What to consider when you choose adult care options (in home, assisted living, full service home)
- How to manage long-distance care
- What are possible legal or social work services to help relatives make the transition
- How to manage care when travelling
- Managing care for dependents with Alzheimer’s
- Resources available from the Office of Human Resources to help manage adult care while working at Cornell
