Saving and investing for the future are priorities for many. Sometime, lack of experience and confidence in investing leads us to delay thinking about the path to managing our personal finances. In addition, barriers such as caring and funding family members, supporting young adults, and other life events demand our resources, financial and emotional. Where and when to begin saving can be confusing, especially if one has competing priorities such as student loans and credit card debts to repay.
In this hour-long program, Naya Sou, financial advisor with Forum Financial, will discuss fundamental principles of personal financial management, including cash flow planning, investing, retirement and debt management. She’ll also look at vehicles that incentivize savings, such as 529 education accounts, retirement accounts (tax-deferred and Roth), brokerage, health savings account and flexible spending accounts.
There will be time for questions and answers.”
